Description: The department of Global Epidemiology at Amgen has internship positions available for highly qualified epidemiology PhD students. Interns will work for 10 to 12 weeks with a senior-level epidemiologist on projects related to disease areas in which Amgen is developing new therapeutics, e.g., oncology, nephrology, osteoporosis and inflammation. Interns will receive a valuable introduction to the role of epidemiology in the development of therapeutics.
Qualifications: Candidates must be current students in an epidemiology PhD program, have already completed their core epidemiology coursework, and be proficient in SAS.
Benefits: Travel reimbursement or paid airfare, car allowance, and corporate housing provided. Tremendous learning opportunity. Social/networking opportunities with other interns provided.
