Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Microbial Genomics, University of Trento

A postdoctoral fellow position in microbial genomics will be available in the establishing Centre for Integrative Biology at the University of Trento. The successful applicant will perform a comparative genomics study of the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa in cystic fibrosis patients, with a focus on virulence determinants. The research topics include molecular epidemiology, comparative and functional genomics, construction and analysis of oligonucleotide microarrays, and the integration of genomic data in a systems biology approach.

Requirements:
Molecular biologists / microbiologists who are just completing a post-doc are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a PhD with training in molecular microbiology. Experience with pathogenic bacteria, bioinformatics, and genomic data is desired.
