Position Description: POST-DOCTORAL position(s) available immediately for 2 years, with possibility of renewal, at the Hubert Department of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, Atlanta, to work with Dr. K.M. Venkat Narayan, Hubert Professor of Global Health & Epidemiology. We are seeking candidates wit either one of the following backgrounds: (1) a medical degree or doctoral degree in epidemiology or nutrition with substantive knowledge of diabetes, obesity, nutrition, or vascular diseases; or (2) doctoral degree in demography, economics, sociology or psychology with interest in global migration and health. Strong quantitative ability, English writing & verbal skills, inter-disciplinary attitude, and creative ability are desirable. The position will involve designing and developing innovative large observational and intervention studies of chronic diseases, preparing study protocols, participating in research, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
