Institute for Global Tobacco Control
The Institute for Global Tobacco Control is seeking an experienced epidemiology student to assist with a project to compile and validate global smoking prevalence estimates for a World Health Organization (WHO) report on global tobacco use and tobacco control policies.
The project will require a 2-month stay in Geneva, beginning on May 1st or ASAP, to collaborate with colleagues from WHO. In addition to being a paid position, this project will provide a unique opportunity to develop contacts at WHO and experience the practical application of epidemiological evidence in an international setting. Living expenses will be covered.
Qualifications: Doctoral student in Epidemiology, willing to spend 2 months in Geneva, knowledge of tobacco control preferred but not required.
