--2 postdoctoral fellowship positions

Position 1: Epidemiologic studies of obesity and physical activity

Candidates will have interest in population-based studies of obesity,
body composition and/or physical activity and excellent SAS data
analysis skills. Training in epidemiology, biostatistics, exercise
science and nutrition or other health-related sciences is preferred.
Experience in the analysis of accelerometry data would be very helpful.


Position 2: Studies of obesity prevention in children with emphasis on study design

Candidates will have interest in the development and advancement of methods used in obesity prevention studies aimed at children. Training in nutrition and clinical trials preferred. Areas of work are likely to include diet, physical activity and other obesity-related behaviors.
Applicants should be interested in the design and implementation of trials and both data collection and analysis. Experiences will include data analysis, manuscript preparation and
involvement in writing grant proposals.

These postdocs will join an enthusiastic and energetic group of scholars and receive careful mentoring. Participation in classroom courses as a student and/or instructor is available if of interest. United States citizenship is not required, however, candidates must speak and write English fluently.
