RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP: Center for Population Studies, National Heart, Lung, & Blood Institute, NIH, DHHS.

Research Fellowship position to conduct mentored research in cardiovascular disease (and its risk factors), kidney, lung, and other disorders. Areas of focus include etiologic research into risk factors, natural history of disease, temporal trends in disease and risk factors, disease risk assessment, biomarkers of disease, and genetic epidemiology using resources from NHLBI population studies. The position will be sited at NHLBI's Jackson Heart Study, a study of African Americans in Mississippi, or at NHLBI's Framingham Heart Study (FHS) in Framingham, MA near Boston.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or a medical degree with research experience in epidemiology, biostatistics, human genetics, or a related discipline.
