Applications are invited for one or more Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in Statistics, to be held in the Statistical Laboratory and filled by 1 September 2008, or by negotiation. Information about the Laboratory can be found at www.statslab.cam.ac.uk. These 2-3 year research posts are associated with a major expansion of personnel and activities in core statistical methodology and its applications, supported by the UK Science and Innovation Programme.

The pensionable scale of stipends for a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 1 May 2008 is £26,886 to £33,780 per year. Appointment will be at an appropriate point on this scale.
