Position Description: The University of Texas Medical Branch is accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows interested in pursuing an academic career in women’s health research. This 2 year fellowship provides training in theory and methods as well as practical experience as they pertain to conducting clinical research. Successful candidates will participate in a core curriculum that includes small group learning, individualized mentoring, and experiential learning activities. They will work with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychologists, epidemiologists, and statisticians. Manuscript writing and research presentations will be an integral part of training and strongly emphasized. Instruction in grant writing is also available.

Qualifications: Applicants must have their doctoral degree prior to the start of the fellowship. Individuals with a PhD degree in public health, psychology, epidemiology, statistics, or a related field are eligible. The deadline for applications is open and application materials will be considered as they are received. The start date is flexible.
