Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Position Description: The Rwanda Zambia HIV Research Group (www.rzhrg.org) maintains 4 research field sites in Kigali, Rwanda (est 1986), Lusaka, Zambia (est 1994) and Kitwe and Ndola, Zambia (est 2003). The home office is at the Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, Georgia. 1 Postdoctoral position is available in Kigali, Rwanda, requiring a PhD in Epidemiology and interest in HIV, Infectious diseases, and reproductive health. All post-doctoral positions begin with approximately 6 months of training at the Emory office in Atlanta, GA, USA. Subsequent years will be based in Kigali, Rwanda. Experience with Teleform, SAS, Access, Datafax, and web-based data entry are desirable for Epidemiology post-docs. Fluent English is an absolute requirement. French is required as a first or second language. Relocation costs to Atlanta not provided. Airfare and lodging in Africa provided for post-docs but not for families.
Qualifications: PhD in epidemiology. Fluency in English. French as a 1st or 2nd language.
