Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: postdoctoral infectious disease epidemiologist, Asia-Pacific Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Hawaii
The Asia-Pacific Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, in partnership with the Pasture Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, and the Pediatric Dengue Vaccine Initiative in Seoul, Korea, is seeking a postdoctoral-level infectious disease epidemiologist.
The applicant should have a Ph.D. in infectious disease epidemiology or an MD with epidemiology training or experience. This is 3-year entry-level project-funded position. Job location is on site in Ho Chi Minh City and in nearby My To City.
Briefly, the job description is to oversee the implementation of an active surveillance project on dengue virus infection among 5- to 10-year old children in My Tho City.
Terms of employment are conditional on background, experience, and availability of funds.
