Job Details: The Healthcare Informatics team at IBM's Almaden Research Center is looking for Post Doctoral Researchers with analytic skills in the areas of healthcare informatics and public health. Specific skills include: medical image analysis, data mining of health data, bio-statistics, epidemiological modeling, text analysis of clinical documents or other analytic and modeling disciplines appropriate for understanding clinical data. Experience in Java, database, content management, web, and middleware systems, experience with analytic systems like SAS, MatLab are desirable skills. Our work includes healthcare Research (usually with academic or industry partners) with the goal of creating new technology, analytical systems, applications and open source tools (through the Eclipse Open Health Framework).

Major Field of Study: Healthcare Informatics, Medical Imaging, Bio-Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health.

Skills: Healthcare, Public Health, or Medical Informatics, Java Programming, Data Analysis, Middleware Experience, Analytic Tools (e.g. SAS, MatLab, etc)
