One postdoctoral scholar position in the area of data management and geospatial analysis is available immediately to study the epidemiology of malaria and population ecology of African malaria mosquitoes and malaria parasites. This position is an integral part of the research team aiming at better understanding of malaria transmission and development of new vector control methods in western Kenya highlands. This position will be primarily based in Kisumu, western Kenya.
Requirements - The candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree and possess a good publication record. The candidate should have a strong background in biostatistics, GIS, epidemiology, or spatial statistics. Prior experience on mosquitoes or malaria parasites is preferred, but is not required.
