Position Description: The Postdoctoral Fellow will provide expertise in public health program evaluation and epidemiology. Provides leadership in planning and implementing evaluation plans for bureau and community partnership initiatives. Demonstrated interest in obesity or maternal/child health a plus.
In addition, the individual in this 2-year appointment mentors students and facilitates joint research projects between the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Position is located in Columbia, South Carolina.


Qualifications: Earned doctoral degree in public health, health promotion/education or epidemiology and one year experience in gathering, editing, analyzing and reporting data for public health and/or surveillance programs. Ability to evaluate public health or social programs including community- based projects.
