Position Summary The Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the Arizona Cancer Center is seeking applications for postdoctoral research training in the area of genetic and molecular epidemiology. The position is funded through the R25 Training Grant supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The goal of the R25 Training Grant is to train qualified candidates within a diverse experiential environment. Working closely with senior investigators, the fellow will participate in ongoing NIH/NCI funded projects to develop his/her own clinical/translational research. Duties and Responsibilities * Works under general direction while initiating, performing and conducting research.
* Conducts mentored research in the field of cancer prevention and control.
* Prepares and submits manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.
* Presents research results at conferences.
* Applies for grants.

Additional Minimum Qualifications * Doctoral-level training (e.g. PhD, PharmD, MD, DrPH or equivalent).
