Mid to Senior-Level Investigators and Post-Doctoral Fellows
Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ and Jacksonville, FL
Mayo Clinic Cancer Center seeks experienced investigators for opportunities on our Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ and Jacksonville, FL, campuses. These tenure-track positions include the chance to collaborate on initiatives emanating from Mayo's NIH CTSA grant award, and options for limited teaching assignments. As members of the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with a national presence, incumbents will enjoy start-up packages for their own research program plus annual research operating funds.
We are also offering new post-doctoral positions in health disparities research. This program, mentored by experienced faculty, including behavioral scientists, cancer epidemiologists, cancer geneticists, etc., is focused on developing a new cadre of scientists devoted to understating the complex interaction among several factors, such as biology, social environment and specific behaviors that contribute to health disparities in cancer detection, prevention, therapy and control.

Requirements
Mid to Senior-level Investigators must have: • Doctoral degree in a social science, epidemiology or medicine (an MD degree should be accompanied by a master's in clinical research or related science or fellowship training) • Experience in leading or collaborating with teams involved in community-based cancer prevention and/or control interventions • A record of peer-reviewed grant funding, publication and scholarly accomplishments in research on cancer health disparities
Fellows must have: • Doctoral degree or ABD in psychology, public health, communications or related social or health science
