The Dept. of Env. Health Sci. at the Mailman Sch. of Pub. Health, Columbia Univ., seeks a postdoc. in the field of Env. Health Sci. This postdoc. would join a multidisciplinary team of scientists engaged in studies related to Global Health involving nutritional biochemistry, environmental epidemiology and toxicology. Focusing on naturally occurring contaminants – i.e., arsenic and manganese - in drinking water in the developing world. Global Health, Nutritional Biochemistry or a related discipline, with in EHS. Strong laboratory analytical skills to perform analyses of biological samples. Experience and/or willingness to take part in international research and development projects related to EHS preferred. Position is temporary for a two-year period starting 7/1/09. Opportunity for advancement.
