General Description:
Manage complex computerized database used for several multi-site research projects. Ensure integrity, accuracy and security of diagnostic and genetic data. Responsible for the overall progress of four genetic research studies. Essential Job Functions: Perform data management, data analysis, and network management; bioinformatic and genetic analyses. Provide user support for the system locally and for collaborating institutions. Organize weekly coordinator meetings to ensure staff is meeting targeted goals and deadlines. Other Job Functions: Analyze and summarize study progress in weekly meetings with the research team, ongoing conversations with coordinators at the other sites, and in annual progress reports; assist investigators with writing of annual progress reports and annual renewals of the research grant.
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Computer Science or research related discipline required. Three years experience of working with data bases ideal. Know how to efficiently query the Paradox database required. Understand the recruitment, ascertainment and enrollment processes for subjects in all studies required.
