Univ of Nebraska : Epidemiology Faculty Positions

I write to seek your assistance in identifying candidates for epidemiology faculty positions. The newly established College of Public Health, Division of Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), seeks qualified candidates for the following positions:

· Tenure-leading Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include teaching and curriculum development in graduate Public Health program and development of independent research program. Collaboration with other campus researchers is encouraged. Ph.D. in Epidemiology or equivalent required.

· Tenure-leading Senior faculty position at Associate/Full Professor level. Primary responsibility is to conduct extramurally-funded independent research; some teaching of graduate level courses in Public Health degree programs is expected. Applicants interested in leadership roles in College and/or UNMC/Eppley Cancer Center are especially encouraged. Ph.D. in Epidemiology or equivalent required. Rank commensurate with experience.
While candidates with any research focus will be considered, UNMC has established research programs in cancer, environmental health, behavioral health, neuroscience and cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and infectious diseases.
