The College of Health and Public Policy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instructor/Associate/Assistant Professor in the community health area. This candidate will be required to teach and participate in the creation of the Institute of Public Health at Delaware State University. The qualified candidate will be teaching courses in the areas of Community Health/Public Health, and will maintain office hours to counsel and advise students; participate in University, department, and professional committees; participate in curriculum development, and in syllabi development/revision; engage in grant writing and in scholarly activity. The candidate will demonstrate and maintain professional competencies and knowledge of subject matters, as well as meet each class as scheduled. MPH or related discipline and either ABD or an earned doctorate in Public Health or a related field. Must have demonstrated commitment to scholarly research and publications and experience in grant writing. Other preferences include teaching and research experience in Community Health/Public Health, and social and behavioral sciences.
