ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR PUBLIC HEALTH

The College of Health and Public Policy is seeking qualified applicants to teach and participate in the creation of the Institute of Public Health at Delaware State University. The qualified candidate will teach either Epidemiology/Biostatistics, undergraduate statistics in Nursing, and Social Work and other courses in Public Health; maintain office hours to counsel and advise students; participate in University, department, professional committees; must participate in curriculum development; participate in syllabi development and /or revisions; engage in grant writing and scholarly activity. The candidate must meet each class as scheduled, and demonstrate and maintain the professional competence and knowledge of the subject matter. The candidate may also be assigned one or more related tasks on a rotating or as-needed basis. MPH or related discipline, and either ABD or an earned doctorate in Public Health or a related field. Must have demonstrated commitment to scholarly research and publication, and experience in grant writing. Other preferences include teaching and research experience in Epidemiology/Biostatistics, and Statistics.
