Position: Epidemiologist/Outcomes Researcher

Outcomes Insights, Inc. is a small, specialty consulting company based in Newbury Park, CA. We conduct epidemiological analyses and develop economic models, primarily for clients in the biotechnology industry. We are in need of someone with excellent analytical skills who can help us with the analyses of observational data. We work with a variety of data sets, mostly those that are publicly available, in support of the research interests of our clients. While we are a consulting company, we have academic roots and strive to develop manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications for our clients.

A strong academic background in epidemiology and/or biostatistics with at least a Master’s degree, as well as experience analyzing claims data, is required. Ability to conduct your own analyses using either SAS and Stata is required. Ability to work on your own and meet reasonable timelines is also required. Finally, excellent communication skills are critical. Relocation to California is not required, but is possible, and can be discussed on an individual basis. Salary is commensurate with experience.
