BIOSTATISTICIAN
Limited one-year term position. Continuation of position subject to funding availability.

Responsibilities include carrying out a broad range of statistical activities including: basic analysis and interpretation of Tribal and State collected health information; interpretation of epidemiological principals and methods; and report preparation.

Located at the Central Offices in Lac du Flambeau, WI. This is a full-time, exempt position, with a starting salary range of $32,000-$39,000.

Qualifications

Req: Bachelor’s Degree in (Bio)Statistics, Mathematics, or Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology or two to three years related experience and/or training; or any suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable. Experience working with a Native American Tribal organization and/or not-for-profit agency desirable. Individual must be able to address a wide range of intellectual and practical problems, apply statistical calculations to findings, and the ability to compose business correspondence. Requires a high level of confidentiality. Must possess valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation with adequate insurance and ability to travel.
