Job Description
Requires Bachelor's degree + 3 years experience or Master's degree with < 3 years experience.
1. Analyzes evaluation data, makes conclusions regarding the acceptability of products, and makes recommendations to the Manager, senior staff and project scientists.
2. Writes protocols and evaluation reports requiring unique statistical treatment of data.
3. Tracks and reports the administrative status of clinical studies for use in planning resource allocation. Provides time estimates of statistical efforts. Assists Manager of Biostatistics in developing procedures for production of statistical reports.
4. Extends or develops statistical methodology to solve complex problems.
5. Consults with statisticians on methodology and statistical analyses. Resolves conflicts that arise during protocol development or data analysis.
6. Consults with scientists and engineers on data analysis and experimental design during product development.
7. Reviews clinical evaluation reports for statistical content.
