Description
The Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) Program at Meharry Medical College Academic Health Center has an Assistant Professor position for which which it is recruiting. The person selected for this position is expected to be skilled to teach courses in the areas of biostatistics, research design, and other public health courses such as health care system and interdisciplinary courses. The individual is expected to conduct research in a public health related area of interest. The selected person must address the needs of a student population of great diversity - in age, cultural background, ethnicity, primary language and academic preparation - through course materials, teaching strategies and advisement.

Requirements
A candidate is expected to have an earned doctorate degree (PhD, DrPH, DPA, or equivalent) in a public health related discipline of biostatistics, research design and general public health from an accredited institution. Applicants should have awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goal of a multicultural population as might have been gained in cross-cultural study, training and other comparable experience.
