Applications are invited for two new University Lectureships in Statistics, to be held in the Statistical Laboratory and filled by 1 September 2008, or by negotiation. Information about the Laboratory can be found at www.statslab.cam.ac.uk. These posts are associated with a major expansion of personnel and activities in core statistical methodology and its applications, supported by the UK Science and Innovation Programme.

The pensionable scale of stipends for a University Lecturer from 1 May 2008 is £34,793 to £44,074 per year. Appointment will be at an appropriate point on this scale. Most University Lecturers accept a concurrent college fellowship, with additional stipend.
