Position Description: Tenure Track Asst. Professor Health Science Program - Fall 2008

Qualifications: ABD or Ph.D. in Public Health, Health Education/Health Promotion, Health Science or a related field from an accredited institution or higher education; Potential for, or record of, research, scholarly and/or creative activity; Expertise in public health. A Ph.D. from an accredited institution of higher education is required for tenure. Candidates should provide record of or potential for scholarly activity involving students whenever possible, as well as the demonstrated potential for effective teaching using a variety of methodologies. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus.
