Position Description: The University of Memphis is seeking to fill a nine-month tenure track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor beginning August 2008 to expand the existing program in Public Health. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in collaborative research with public health and interdisciplinary faculty, teach graduate level courses, and direct students’ practicum experiences. The new faculty will also be expected to develop an externally-funded program of research.
Qualifications: Candidates must have received a Ph.D. or Dr.P.H. from an accredited School of Public Health by August 2008 and have demonstrated teaching and research achievement in such areas as Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Environmental Health.
