Position Description: Professor responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in the public health educatioin program; teaching graduate courses in the master of public health program; conducting and publishing research; serving in professional associations; and serving on department, college and university committees.
Qualifications: Assistant or Associate Professor with a doctorate degree (ABD considered) in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related field or an M.D. with master’s level training in epidemiology or biostatistics. Public health employment experience in epidemiology is desirable but not mandatory. A record of scholarship applying quantitative skills to a public health problem, or a specific plan to engage in this research is required. Experience interacting or working with diverse populations (e.g., racial/ethnic, cultural, persons with disabilities, etc.) and interest in performing research or service among these populations is also desirable.
Organization Description: Private university full-time employees receive option for medical/dental, retirement and tuition benefits for self and dependents.
