The Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology is a multi-disciplinary department encompassing research and educational programs in public health, epidemiology, clinical research, molecular epidemiology, public policy and geriatric dentistry. The Department Head, who will be the Delta Dental Professor, will be located at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and will have responsibilities for teaching, research, and administration. The Department has a legacy of excellence and achievement. The successful candidate will lead the Department in the realization of its mission to advance health through blending of basic and clinical research and public health. The successful candidate must be an outstanding clinical scholar who has made significant contributions to the broad areas of epidemiology, clinical/ translational research, outcome analysis and/or public policy. Candidates may have the DDS, DMD, PhD, MD or equivalent degrees. Administrative and educational experience is required given the size and educational mission of the department
