This Position is located in the Department of Health and Human
Services, Food and Drug Administration, Center for Devices and
Radiological Health, Office of Surveillance and Biometrics, Division
of Postmarket Surveillance, Epidemiology Branch.

MAJOR DUTIES:

If selected for this position, you will:

- Provide guidance on epidemiologic assessments of issues related to
premarket and postmarket device safety and/or effectiveness.

- Provide guidance on technical approaches to the design and
analysis of epidemiologic studies.

- Provide outreach efforts to further postmarketing efforts within
CDRH.

- Develop a broad range of technical written material.

- Present a broad range of technical material to varied audiences

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
In addition to the basic qualifications above, you must have one (1)
year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the
particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully
the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to
the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized
experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in
the Federal government.


Basic Requirements: Degree: major study in an academic field related
to the health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of
the position.

Foreign Degree Note: All foreign degrees must be evaluated by a
nationally recognized Accrediting Agency and proof must be submitted
of such evaluation.
