The University of Texas at El Paso, College of Health Sciences, Department of Health Promotion invites nominations and applications for a new faculty Assistant/Associate Professor position (Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Environmental Health specialty).
Qualifications: (1) Earned doctoral degree in public health or closely related field; (2) specialization in epidemiology, biostatistics, or environmental health; (3) potential for/ evidence of independent and collaborative scholarship demonstrated by research publications and extramural research funding, (4) demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring, and (5) excellence in oral and written communication. Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in a multi-cultural setting and interest in working with Hispanic and U.S.-Mexico border populations.
