Position Description: Department: NATIONAL CENTER FOR PRIMARY CARE Minimum Qualifications/Degree required: Ph.D. in Health Services, Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or other quantitative research disciplines from an accredited college or university with 4 years teaching, research or public health experience.

Position Summary: Independently undertakes or collaborates in planning, developing, and implementing studies on health outcomes, requiring mastery of a line of health services research, focused on access to primary care for underserved populations, and on improving health outcomes and primary care effectiveness in underserved settings. Provides leadership in design and execution of research methods, protocols, and procedures, which constitute a principal component of an integrated research program at the National Center for Primary Care and the Regional Coordinating Center for Hurricane Response (RCC).

Organization Description: Historical Perspective The school's history is a unique one.
