The Department of Ambulatory Care and Prevention (DACP), a joint academic department of Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, invites applications for the position of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor of Ambulatory Care and Prevention.

DACP seeks faculty members to strengthen its ongoing collaborative research in one or both of the following core areas of the Program:
• Health services research relating to prevention and treatment of obesity, which takes advantage of extensive local and national managed care networks.
• Developmental origins of obesity and its consequences, applying epidemiologic methods within local, national, and international cohort studies
Candidates should have a doctoral degree—MD, PhD, or equivalent—and experience in one or more of the following research areas: health services, epidemiology, behavioral sciences, nutrition, physical activity, or related fields. DACP offers a supportive and collaborative environment, and actively encourages applications from women and minorities. While these faculty positions are primarily research-oriented, DACP faculty members are expected to participate in teaching at Harvard Medical School, and clinicians have opportunities to practice part time.
