The Institute is actively seeking qualified applications for a Research Associate for our Biostatstics and Epidemiology department in Hyattsville, MD.

The Research Associate is responsible for execution of research projects and providing data management support for designated research studies. The Research Associate will manage, troubleshoot, and enhance the web-based data entry system. Prepare study reports, lisitngs, tables, graphs, and other presentations of study data. Develop data management Manual of Operating Procedures. Will also handle cleaning and auditing of clinical data and databases in compliance with MedStar Research Institute standards, client guidelines, contractual obligations and regulatory agency guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: MPH, or Bachelors degree in computer science

Experience: The candidate should have at least 1 year or proven data management and data analysis experience with the SAS statistical package, Experience with SQL, VB.net programming, and Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and to re-order work tasks as needed.
