The Master of Public Health program at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is accepting applications for several full-time faculty positions that will commence in the Fall of 2008.

Health Policy and Administration
The faculty member will be primarily responsible for teaching onsite and online in the field of Health Policy and Administration and providing leadership in the area. Other duties include scholarly productivity in the form of publications and receipt of external funding as well as service to the department, university and local and state communities. Duties will also include student advising and mentoring. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in public health with emphasis in health policy and administration, health management, or health administration.

Epidemiology and Research Methods
The faculty member will be responsible for teaching onsite and online in the field of public health research methods, epidemiology, or biostatistics and will provide leadership in these areas. Expertise in biostatistics is desirable. Scholarly productivity in the form of publications and successful receipt of extramural funding is essential. Duties will also include service to the department, university, and local and state communities as well as student advising and mentoring. Candidates for this position must posses a Ph.D. in public health or related field with emphasis on public research, epidemiology, or biostatistics.

The Master of Public Health Program is a CEPH-accredited generalist program. The program is located within the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) which is part of the Health Professions Divisions at Nova Southeastern University. This advantageous location affords faculty the opportunity to work collaboratively with faculty members from diverse health professions such as pharmacy, optometry, dentistry and nursing as well as medicine

Candidates for these positions must possess onsite and online teaching experience in a higher education environment commensurate with rank, present evidence of research ability that includes publications and externally funded projects, and be fluent in Spanish.
