Epidemiological & Biostatistics Project
(Maryland Location)

Local Government Contractor is actively seeking candidates for an upcoming contract/task to support epidemiological studies of military medical surveillance data. Most positions require an MS or Ph.D. and extensive experience with the SAS Statistical Package. Experience with military surveillance data base design and/or analyses is highly desired. Specific experience with the following would be best: Standard Ambulatory Data Record, Standard Inpatient Data Record, Personnel Data and other DoD data sources. Epidemiologist Subject Matter Experts
(Ph.D. required & 5 years’ post-doc experience including extensive SAS)

Staff Epidemiologists
(M.S. or Ph.D. required & related practical experience & SAS)

Biostatisticians/Subject Matter Experts
(Ph.D. required & 5 years’ post doc experience including extensive SAS)

SAS Programmers
(B.S. in Computer Science & 3-6 years SAS)

Technical Publications Specialist
(B.S. in Tech Writing, Graphics, or Fine Arts & 3-6 years related publications experience)

The main focus of tasking requirements is to analyze, interpret, and disseminate information regarding the status, trends, and determinants of the health and fitness of American’s military service members. Project includes ultimately providing advice and consultation services and identifying risk factors for select outcomes leading to policy changes or behavioral modification.
