General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking candidates who have PhDs in Biostatistics or Epidemiology to work at our client site in Silver Spring, MD. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance and have experience working with SAS. Candidates will analyze, interpret and disseminate information regarding the status, trends and determinants of the health and fitness of the US military populations. Our client systemically monitors health events and provides reporting of rates and trends of diseases and injuries among the Department of Defense populations to policy makers, medical planners and researchers. The focus of this position is to provide statistical expertise to analysts in analyzing data for the customer and client driven ad hoc requests, reports, projects or tasks regarding the health and wellness as well as the obstacles to medical readiness of the US service members. Candidate will review proposed studies for soundness of statistical methodology. 2+ years of post doc experience desired.
