This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious researcher in epidemiology, health services research, biostatistics or a related quantitative subject who is looking to develop his or her international career in health economics and outcomes research.
The health economic related work at Mapi Values is varied, and includes: • Systematic reviews and meta-analysis; • Economic modeling: development, adaptation and communication of models for reimbursement purposes, and international marketing support; • Randomized and observational studies: design, implementation and analysis of national and international studies to collect patient information on outcomes, resource utilization, utility and costs.

Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) or equivalent experience and will be able to demonstrate a track record in applied research. Skills in statistics/epidemiology or quantitative analysis of biological/medical data are required. An interest in cost-effectiveness evaluations would be an advantage. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential. Preferably working knowledge of one or more of the following software packages: Excel/Visual Basic, WinBUGS, SAS or STATA.
