We seek three statisticians to contribute to the development and testing of statistical methods for risk prediction, with particular application to cardiovascular disease. This will constitute methodological research, empirical research and applied research using data from the million-person Emerging Risk Factors Collaboration. The work is led jointly by staff at the University of Cambridge and the closely collaborating MRC Biostatistics Unit. We welcome applicants with a graduate degree in statistics (or related field), some work experience and a strong interest in the application of statistical methods to health research and epidemiology.
