Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor Department of Epidemiology & Public Health
The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Epidemiology & Public Health is seeking a Faculty member that specializes in physical activity epidemiologic and/or structural intervention science research (structural interventions preferred). The ideal candidate will be established in this area and have the ability to sustain a program of research targeting physical activity. This candidate will also be teaching and mentoring students in relevant area. The hiring rank will be based on experience, scientific accomplishments and current level of research funding.




Requirements
•Doctorate in Epidemiology or other field of Public Health •Successful record of extramural funding and associated peer-reviewed empirical publications •Existing program of research in physical activity preferred •Ability to lead and collaborate with highly interdisciplinary team essential •Ability to integrate genetics and/or neuroscience into physical activity research
