Brief Description of Duties:

Evidence of independent and collaborative research activities directed toward the investigation and evaluation of current theories and principals in cardiovascular epidemiology. Develop study designs and analyzes data. Possesses credentials and experience of an independent teacher of the principals of cardiovascular research to clinical and research trainees. Full knowledge of research principles, concepts and theories in specific areas of cardiovascular epidemiology and prognostication, which may be under study. Carries out planned research and cooperate with scientist on other programs. Prepares research papers and supervises junior scientist, trainees and technicians.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:
PhD. or Ed.D. with advanced training and experience in cardiovascular epidemiology, clinical trials, study design and statistics preferred. Demonstrated capacity to lead research projects and to act as an independent investigator.
