The Division of Epidemiology within the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry’s Department of Community and Preventive Medicine is recruiting tenure-track faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The division is seeking outstanding candidates with a demonstrated research interest in the areas of prevention, intervention, or etiological research. Individuals with experience in molecular or genetic epidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, and behavioral epidemiology are of particular interest.

Successful candidates are expected to attract extramural support, demonstrate excellence in teaching in the extensive predoctoral and postdoctoral training programs in the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine, and expand partnerships within the university and the community. All applicants must hold a doctoral degree in epidemiology or in a closely related field of science with a strong emphasis on research design and statistical methods. She or he should have a minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience with an established record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. A demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding is desirable.
