The Division of Statistical Genomics (DSG), part of the Center for Genome Sciences, in partnership with the Departments of Genetics, Medicine, Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine invites applications for multiple investigator (tenure)-track positions in statistical genetics / genetic epidemiology. A strong background in quantitative sciences is essential, with specific expertise in statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, or population genetics.
Post-doctoral training is required, and experience in genomics will be advantageous. We seek individuals with a focus on theoretical and applied statistical modeling to interact with clinical and translational scientists engaged in human biomedical research from other disciplines such as oncology, cardiology, pharmacology, and microbiology. The successful candidate must be an innovative thinker capable of developing an independent research program, will participate in teaching and mentoring of graduate students, and should possess a collaborative and collegial spirit.
