The Ohio State University College of Public Health is searching for candidates for multiple tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in epidemiology.
Candidates whose research is in cancer, cardiovascular disease, genetics, occupational health or injuries, or infectious disease are particularly encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be able to collaborate with existing faculty and to develop their own program of funded research.
High quality graduate teaching and advising are also expected.
A doctoral degree in public health, medicine, or a related discipline is required.
Rank and salary will be determined by the candidate’s credentials.
For appointment to a tenured position, applicants must have a strong record of funded research and peer-reviewed publications.
Applications will be considered as they arrive and the date of appointment is open to negotiation.
More so than in many institutions, successful candidates will be able to help shape the direction of the Ohio State College of Public Health as it expands over the next five years.
Senior candidates will also have the opportunity to bring or recruit junior colleagues.
