The Fund for Public Health in New York, Inc. (FPHNY) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To this end, FPHNY implements programs to address pressing public health needs, fosters private sector support to enhance health and health care, and helps educate the public regarding the protection of individual, family and community health.



POSITION OVERVIEW

The Nutrition Research Analyst will be responsible for the design, development and use of a nutrition database to support a national Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) intervention to reduce sodium in processed and restaurant foods. The position will also provide data analysis and evaluation support to other CVD nutrition initiatives as needed.



The position will be stationed at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control, reporting to the Nutrition Policy Manager.
