Description
The Healthcare Administration Program is experiencing rapid growth and seeks to assemble a dynamic faculty with a strong interest in community partnerships to work in a team-oriented and entrepreneurial academic environment. Healthcare Administration faculty will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with healthcare partners engaged in providing distinctive, high quality health services benefiting the public’s health.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach graduate and undergraduate healthcare administration courses and related courses as assigned; apply for internal and/or external funding to support research/creative activity and student learning; collaborate with healthcare organizations; counsel students on their capstone projects; advise undergraduate and graduate students; serve on Department, School, and University committees.

Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience and level of appointment.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctoral degree with specialization in healthcare administration or related discipline. Demonstrated potential for effective teaching and developing a focused program of scholarly/creative activity; the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse university community.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience in healthcare administration at either the undergraduate or graduate level at a four year college or university; expertise and experience in quantitative aspects of healthcare administration education; a record of published research and evidence of a current research agenda. Preference will be given to candidates with additional expertise in related healthcare administration experience and a record of collaborating with health services partners. Teaching experience in biostatistics, epidemiology, and research methods is desirable.
