R3 Education is pleased to announce that several full-time positions are open in two of their associated medical schools in the Caribbean: (1.) Saba University School of Medicine (http://www.saba.edu), and (2.) Medical University of the Americas - Nevis, West Indies (http://www.mua.edu).

Faculty teaching positions are available in the following basic sciences areas: Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Histology, Genetics, Gross Anatomy, Medical Psychology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Introduction to Clinical Medicine.

Full-Time Positions: Saba University and MUA have several full-time positions available at all academic levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor). All salaries are tax-free, with travel and health care benefits. Salary range is $48,000 - $60,000, based on qualifications. Candidates should have either a Ph.D. or M.D., with demonstrated medical school or graduate teaching experience in U.S. or Canadian medical schools. Openings are available immediately and will remain open until suitable candidates are selected.

Saba University School of Medicine is a fully accredited medical school, recognized by the World Health Organization. Saba University currently has a basic science enrollment of 350 medical students and 35 full-time faculty, with over 2,000 graduates in residency and licensed throughout the U.S. and Canada. The student-faculty ratio of 10:1 is ideal for quality teaching and student/faculty interaction. The medical school campus includes a recently completed state of the art classroom building. The medical school is located on the Dutch island of Saba, about 30 miles from St. Maarten in the central Caribbean. Saba is virtually crime-free, with no poverty or unemployment. English is the first language, and the local population is friendly and supportive of the medical school. Medical University of the Americas is an accredited four-year medical school recognized by the World Health Organization with graduates approved for residency and medical practice in the United States and Canada. The medical school is a "teaching institution" that promotes quality medical education through limited class size and positive student-faculty interaction. MUA currently has a combined enrollment of 385 students in the pre-med and basic science program, with 35 faculty members, and many graduates in residency and licensed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our 10-acre campus has recently expanded its classroom and laboratory space, added a multipurpose complex, and a new library. MUA is located on the 35 square mile island of Nevis, just 2 miles from St. Kitts in the eastern Caribbean, with a population of 10,000 residents. Nevis is virtually crime-free, with little poverty or unemployment. English is the primary language, and the local residents are friendly and supportive of the medical school.
